La Aurora

La Aurora was founded on October 3, 1903, by Eduardo León Jimenes, a visionary son and grandson of tobacco growers who, without renouncing family tradition, wanted to go one step further by creating a cigar brand that he aspired to make global. At that time, Don Eduardo was only 18 years old. He inherited some land and, with a small staff of six tobacco growers, a lot of enthusiasm, and hard work, he began to build his dream. Today, 121 years later, La Aurora is one of the most iconic Dominican cigar factories in the world, with more than 2,000 employees and a presence on five continents.
